The Baba House boutique hotel is traditionally designed based on the culture of Baba-Nyonya. The Baba House Hotel was renovated from four units of longish residence with an interior that opens into a courtyard which allows sun and rain. Its design is typically from rich Chinese Baroque and Chinese Palladian Style house. Besides that, it also kept heavily embellished hardwood furniture, which is made from Chinese Victorian and Dutch design whereby showing cherry blossoms and birds can be seen on certain pieces.

The Baba House is an ancient boutique hotel providing the following facilities and services: Baba Café, Sunshine Courtyard, Facsimile Service, Free Wifi, Bicycle Hire, Complementary Parking (First come first serve), 24 Hours Security, Laundry, Massage, 24 Hours Front Desk, Conference Facilities, Multilingual Staff, Restaurant(s).

Our Superior Rooms are all newly renovated. All rooms are equipped with individule bathroom, air-conditioner, International Direct Dial telephone, color TV, coffee/tea making facilities. Iron and hair dryer are available upon request.

The Baba House is located in the Malacca town center, just 100m away from the famous Jonker Street (the night market every Friday to Sunday). Within walking distance you can easily reach a lot of attractions such as Fort A Famosa, Portuguese Square, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Christ Church, St. Paul’s Church, Stadhuys Building, etc.
